“Before jail I was going down the wrong path and I didn’t see it”

Two years ago I was hanging out with the wrong crowd. I got caught up with the wrong people. I ended up going to jail for a few months for robbing a house. I was doing a bunch of stupid stuff at that time and we thought we would never get caught and we were invincible. Then we got caught. I realized stuff happens.

A few months after I got out I quit smoking weed. I quit hanging out with them. I never really had a job before that. I got a real job and started working and being with my family more and I made a bunch of new friends. Before jail I was going down the wrong path and I didn’t see it, until it happened then I realized what everyone was saying.

I turned my life around completely. I completely changed and I love my life now. Everything is perfect.  I want to be a chef, I’m a line cook right now. I’m also starting my own clothing company. A few years ago I didn’t have any money in my pocket but now this week, Kearney is my favorite artists, I just saw him 6 times in a row. I can afford to do stuff like that now.

I forget how long ago, we went to Vegas, my family and my grandparents. My grandma won a teddy bear. And until I was 13, 14 I slept with it every night. I really loved it. It’s still in my house. I gave it to my sister. I named it but I forgot. It made me feel safe and comfortable.
