“My family always said it looked like I could store food in my face. So When I was little my nickname in my family was groceries because I had chubby cheeks. Not the nicest of nicknames when you are little. I hated it growing up but now I love it. Now I have a sweatshirt that says chubby cheeks and I’m wearing it. I now celebrate that name that I hated all of my life. I love it, because it is me, part of me and it is how my family thinks of me. It is not from a mean place but from a nice caring place.
I have a bear named Stuart I’ve had him forever. My mom gave him to me. He’s been around forever and wherever I would moved I would take him. I have a dog that looks like a stuffed animal. He’s more inspirational than Stewart.”
