“I find excuses in my life not to reach my goals.”
I work with families and students in a low income area and parents who have been through a lot; deportation and loss of a home. A Lot of families have been able to come up through it all and make sure that their children are well taken care of and get well educated.
They don’t allow all those things to bring them down or use them as a crutch.
I feel so blessed by not having any of those things happened to me and yet sometimes I find excuses in my life not to reach my goals.
I had hand-me-down stuffed animals. My brother had one named Wolfie Wolf. Wy sister and he got into a fight and she tore it apart. It was devastating for him. Knowing that it meant that much to him made it special and we still talk about it.
