I was bullied and picked on, outcasted. I never had any friends. I tried always to fit in. When I was in high school I was starting to fit in and have everything and it came crashing down on me. They just used me, they really weren’t good friends. I was in a big depression for the longest time. I locked myself in my room. I shut myself out from the outside world. I was afraid to talk to people for the longest time. It wasn’t until 2013 I started going out to events. My brother started helping me. I got a counselor. I started making friends little by little.
February of this year my friend Joey talked me into going to this anime event and from then on I’ve made so many friends. I’ve been the happiest I have ever been. I used to be 309 in weight and now I’m down to 258. My goal in all this is to make my way to the top and become a famous professional cosplay model. And I’m going strong at it.
I’m dressed as Ichigo Kurosak from Bleach. This is my first cosplay. The reason why I picked this is because you don’t have to be physical fit. You don’t have to show off your body. This character overcomes a lot of obstacles and gets back up no matter what. This character has a bunch of variations, eventually it will get to the point where u can show more body. I can lose weight and grow with this character.
I collect plushies from anime. I have a Shadow Heartless plushie. It’s from King of Hearts.
