“Everything I got teased about when I was younger everyone is embracing now”
I’m basically the only one that’s very tattooed and more open in my family. My sisters are more like into doing a lot more, like the medical field and things like that. I ended up being the art student of the family. I’m the black sheep. Growing up was really interesting too. I used to get teased a lot for being really super thin. and for reading comic books all the time.
They didn’t understand anime, cosplay. I started to cosplay when I was around 14 or 15. It wasn’t as big of a community as it is now. It’s made me into a better person, it’s made it beautiful. My parents were very supportive but they didn’t want me to be out casted. Everything I got teased about when I was younger everyone is embracing now. So, I welcome it and I don’t welcome it at the same time. I wish you just had accepted me the way I was in the beginning. I’ve made a lot of friends and it’s build up in a way where it’s made it kind of a hobby/career. It was tough being teased for being a nerd but it shaped me into a better person and my mindset is more open than others. A lot of people are very close-minded just because they are scared.
I have a ton of stuffed animals. I was really big on Pokémon growing up and that is why I am dressed as… I am Eevee. It inspired me to enjoy myself and enjoy the aspects of life because this little guy could just turns into anything.
